The socks were very comfortable. I get frequent leg cramps, and wearing these socks prevented them. They felt as comfortable as a compression sock without the hassle. And the quality of the sock was very good, too. However, I feel that they should have a thicker sole to make for a more comfortable walk. The advertised thick sole was the determining factor for me to purchase them. I bought a few pairs, and I don't think I'll be buying more. I didn't buy them to wear with boots.
